It's about damn time someone solved the problem we all face: my supercar only runs 10s in the quarter mile.
Latest Article: Historically Accurate. Apparently Wildly Inappropriate.

People buying TTG's aren't concerned with the 1/4 mile - they are after the entire mile. I guess Heffner is trying to fit in somewhere since UGR is killing it.

WUT? There are TON's of video's showing TTG's @ the strip... I'd say you're making a pretty baseless claim. Then again it is TCL

Sure, but that's not what matters. These cars are all going to the Texas Mile and other mile-events. That's where they can really wipe the floor with everything else.

Actually, I'm surprised it has taken this long for a Lambo to get into the 8s.

What's going on with the rear tire during the first run? It looks like it is coming off of the rim

    impressive!

I don't understand your logic at all? How does the definitive measurement of a cars power down the 1320 not matter but one-mile does?

Cool. When I make comments like this in the 8sec GT-R thread, people bash me, but when someone else does, there's agreement for days

Definitely a wicked car . I assume these engines can handle a serious amount of boost considering what UGR does on a regular basis. Does anyone have any info on what kind of engine work is done to these lambo engines ?

    Thanks for posting, cool video

when those turbos hit, its gotta be like getting rear ended by a freight train. unreal the raw acceleration of one of those.

does anyone know how the transmissions are beefed up to take that abuse?
    Regarding DD'ing a tuned Evo:

I said something like "Why is an 8sec GTR impressive when there are Civics doing 7s?" and everyone was like "you dumb troll, this car is street drivable! show me a street drivable 7sec Honda!"

the tire is stretching upwards causing it to get skinnier.

similar to what happens to top fuel dragsters but at a much smaller rate

Endurance at WOT. A lot of cars need 10 minutes or so between runs to cool down.
