Most of these are probably imports from Japan, sent over by ethnic Korean relatives to those left behind in DPRK when it was still permitted to do so. Some of those may have ended up in Japan as LHD imports from Europe or the US.

I'm pretty sure this--and the other copies--are actually Chinese-built, not from the DPRK. I don't think any cars are actually manufactured in the DPRK, despite what the propaganda says.
