    Thanks.

Speaking about this dash. Does anybody know how to properly clean plastic with caked in dust from sitting in a field for 10 years? Tried wet naps and windex....not working at all. Still dirty.

I've had good luck with this stuff. Not sure how it can do on years of direct sunlight damage tho. I know you can buy spray die for interiors. That interior doesnt really look too bad really. Might just need some deep cleaning and some protectant.

I think I'm going to need a degreaser as well. The windows clean up nice, as well the door cards. Although the dash is extremely crack, I would almost be inclined to buy another dash.

I would say recover it if its not a plastic dash. Most upholstry places should be able to do it for less then 300$ depending on where you go. You'd get a leather dash (or at least new vinyl), and it would be LOADS easier then trying to find a mint lipstick red dash. Same goes for the steering wheel. My old man had his dash recovered, and I think it was ballpark 250$ for 2 colors and leather. So for one, and vinyl, id imagine its a little cheaper, and youd have fewer spare parts laying around when done (or a more empty trash can ) Great color however, and the cards and seats and headliner all look in good shape. sweet find

    just my 2 cents.

ps. need a decent shape early westy grill? I has one. a few cracked ribs, but still intact.

For now I wanna clean it up of dirt and grime then just cover it up with a dash carpet till I figure out how deep I will sink into the interior.

So you picked it up. I was thinking about going to get that one but it looked like way to much work. As for the dash go to auto zone and buy purple power. This stuff is amazing. Buy the big 3 gallon one because you will use it as your sole degreaser from now on. It breaks down anything organic and works especially well on veggie oil
