How does it drive otherwise, especially before it's warmed up? What are the revs when you first cold start the car?

You need a small flathead screwdriver. On the side of the throttle body (facing the passenger side), you'll see a screw. Turn it clockwise to bring down the idle.

it drives amazing no rough idle only it steadily reving at 1500rpms and i havent notice a diff from a cold start it drives amazingly for having 149,XXX original miles it doesnt stall or have trouble starting
the first or second turn over it starts i just hate how loud it is at idle cus all the other cars idle at around 1000rpms ive noticed unless they have a rough idle from a preformance cam

There could also be a piece of gunk or sludge holding the throttle plate slightly open, Iv'e seen that before. If adjusting the idle air screw does not help, I would look at the throttle body.

Oh and consult your Bently's, pretty sure they have an "idle is too high" section somewhere under trouble shooting.

You could have a stuck idle stabilizer valve. Pretty sure since it is Digifant it has a standard ISV like a MK2 Golf or Jetta. They can be cleaned with contact cleaner.

    This may help...

Digifoxes have the same idle boost valve(s) + AAR as CIS Foxes. No "fancy" ISV.

As for being stuck open, the OP says idle drops to normal after warming up, so it is closing enough.
