Trim and a/r are different. Trim has to do with the wheel (inducer/exducer)^2. It's just a coincidence in this case that the compressor a/r and trim are both 0.50, if that's what is making you confused. You have a 0.48 a/r exhaust housing. You wouldn't be able to tell the trim on the turbo by looking at it unless you can look up the part number. Otherwise, you would need to remove the housing and measure the wheel![]()
