Why hasn't someone done a fuel rail with additional injectors, to get over the limitations of the HPFP. Is it not possible because of the composite intake manifold? it works on the Cobalts with DI and with the BMW N54 engine with DI. i would think it would help with the carbon deposits on the valves as well. It would help with the low engine speed limitations of the HPFP as well as the overall horsepower limits as well. Please anyone with info on this subject speak up. Thanks

There are a few people trying this on the FSI with the HEP stage 2,3, and 3+ intake manifolds.
Nobody sells a TSI intake manifold with extra injector ports yet.

hey Heretic, do you have direct port fuel injectors or just meth injection and if meth, do you think that can supply the additional fuel to meet the demand of a big turbo?

I have a direct port injection w/m system

Yes you can in fact use w/m to supplement for fueling, but if you lose your w/m system, your motor is F&%*ed

This guy used w/m for additional fueling:

blew up that motor and now hes working on:

It looks like someone is playing with the idea, but in limited quantity or they stopped.
