Looking to go air in my passat wagon... Need some help!!

I normaly would just throw on some coils but I would like to bag the wagon instead.

But I'm not sure where to even begin as far as what's good out there.. If anyone could help with some info , links and pics that would be great. I'm looking to spend around 2-2.5k for a good kit.

Would love to see some pics of B5 wagons on air.. Still debating on coils or bags...

Search my friend. People in this forum like you to search first then ask questions, you can look up my B6 passat wagon build. It will give you an idea on how to run wires and so forth. I know they aren't the same body, but it gives you an idea.

read read and read. i was in the same boat as you not too long ago, and now im going to be piecing a kit together myself. just click through a few threads and read. going coils will be the easiet to get low, but having bags will greatly improve ride quality.

Thank you... Yeh I have been popping in to a few threads and reading about the whole system. Wondering if it's cheaper to piece a kit together or just buy a complete kit. I was on YouTube watching a few install videos, really paying attention on the proper way of installing a kit and running the lines so there isn't any complication. And I figured that I want to keep a soft and comfortable ride on the wagon instead of the stiff an bouncy ride with coils.

piecing together a kit can save you about 100-200 bucks if you get lucky. ebay, CL, and the classifieds will be your friends if you decide to piece it out together. oh and to get you to start thinking about managment systems, an analog system will run you about 800 brand new, and a digital system, you can find one used for around that price. im going with analog GL buddy

I would give andrew a day or two before you call. He probably still has alot of booze in his system from h20
