Is a G60 a direct fit into a Mk1 chassis or do the corrado engine mounts have to be installed?

check out the link, it does a good job of going over the basics. You will need custom or semi-custom mounts, among many, many other things. I caused myself much heartache with my 1.8t swap because I did not do enough research.

You will need some MK1 mounts.
I bought a set of Scirroco mounts for when I put my Mk2 16V in, the block mounting points are common, but the Corrado engine mounts are different.
You will need the side mount, front snout and rear trans mount from a MK1. that is why I bought the rocco set.
PM me if you have a G60 (G Lader) and don't want it.
    Here is why
