    my sister passat is driving nuts i change every vacuum line there is and did a full timing belt and water pump service but still getting a check engine for brake booter mechancal failure and adv. timing someone help plz

    my fake vag com took a crap on me but i remeber the two codes that cameup

    brake booter vacuum mechanical failure
    camshaft timing is adv.
    your not going fast unless you see flashing lights

    i've always have that brake booster vacuum issue and still havent fixed it to this day.

    i found out what it was on the intake look at vacuue booter line check value with a small nipple that was bad on mine

    Your timing is off on the belt and your brake vac pump got moisture in it. Dont forget to replace the fuse for the pump, it will prolly be popped. Cheers.
