New to here! Recently aquired an 09 CC!

Hey Everyone! Name is Erik! Just recently bought an 09 CC, Found out about this site and all the cool info within! Thought it'd be cool to join, make a new friends that also like the CC's.

I owned an 08 Blue Pearl R32 before the CC which was pretty awesome! unfortunately I was t-boned by some dumb lady. Car was fixed but didnt feel the same anymore! Decided to get a new car and went for the CC since I had been liking those cars since it came out! I bought mine as 09 since It had all (or most) options compared to newer yrs!

So far I made a few VAGCOM changes:
-DRL's Off
-Remote Up/Down Windows

Mods:
-Euro switch

Future Mods/Changes:
-Turn on Corner lights with fogs on.
-High beams with fogs on.
-Add Xenon Headlights.
-Lower Car.
-Upgrade Wheels.
-Add Vinyl to make black roof.

Welcome, I landed in CC world much same to your story. I was rear ended, ****ty repairs left me wanting a CC replacement and here I am. R32 is a speed car and now it sounds like you are sticking to other non-speed mods, getting older?

Sucks it had to be that way man!! I loved that car too much!
What did you drive before?
And Yes it is! I loved the launch and sound of the car! It'd always put a smile in my face haha.
And I was just listing some ideas I have for the Car. Im also planning on upgrading to Stage 1 later on!

I sincerely welcome you to this site but am truly sorry to hear about your loss of DRLs.

The next time I am travelling though Texas, I will use extra caution watching out for you.

I guess you don't use seat belts either, right?

Don't mean to rag, but these safety features really do work. Just ask Greyhound. That company started using DRLs in the late 50s or early 60s.

I also own and have all the VaGCom mods, except for one that you mentioned. It is definitely a great product. Works great for my CC and Eos.

Hopefully, we will hear more from you in the future. New ideas are always welcome.
