i've seen similar threads pop up once in a while, but they never last.
would be cool if we can keep on going for true UNICORNS (i know everyone's definition is different)
so the only things i would suggest:
    1. you must be the one who spotted it and took the pic (please dont post pics form car shows or internets
    2. car shows/ gtg's shouldnt count,
    3. lets keep it to some very limited cars: classic or modern, i dont care.

today going fishing i spotted this beauty , gave the guy he did the same,
im not an expert, but i think this is : 1973-75 BMW 3.0 CLS, 73 is when they introduced that huge spoiler and fins on the hood , right?
according to WIKI only 344 total were made.

this car looked amazing, super clean,

The trim around the arches is hideous despite the fact it is OE.

This car is pretty expensive in Forza 3...about $125K. Cool find!
"As anyone who has ever tinkered with an old BMW engine or looked out on to the wing of a jet can attest, pure response to engineering requirements can sometimes deliver just as much pleasure as a more intentionally aesthetic design process."

Saw this today cruising through Bethlehem, PA. ~2000 made worldwide, 22 years old at a minimum, and it's an 80's Maserati product....don't know about unicorn status, but I don't expect to ever see another one on the road.

The guy in the hat seems to be more fascinated by the dude wearing the baby.

Unicorn status or not, the wing on that BMW just completely ruins the lines of that car.

so how rare is that 914-6? would be great if whoever posting pics could provide UNICORN status info for those not familiar with particular car

Does a GT40, and a 991 Turbo test mule count as unicorns?

I own a unicorn... the 2006 Fisker Latigo CS. There are only two in the world, although they intended a limited run of 150 cars. The prototype is car #000, I don't know where that resides...but car #001 lives in my driveway.

I saw a unicorn earlier this months. A Jaguar XJ220:

That is truly the redheaded bastard of your otherwise fine collection of cars.

The other Fisker unicorn lives very close to me. The only Fisker Tramonto with a V12TT ever built. All the others were based off the V8 SL's.

Really? It drives that different from the BMW it was morphed from? In any case, I'm not sure how it survives in the "design" shade cast by your Aston.

I saw an Avanti on my commute the other day. Not sure how rare, but it was the second I have seen in my lifetime. No pic as it was driving toward me and I couldn't snap quick enough.

Pretty much all the California cars posted in this thread have been at C&C. Some of them might have been on their way too or from. lol

As to the Maserati above only place I've seen one is a Pick Your Part.

Not sure if this qualified but I'm sure there aren't many in the states. 1979 euro BMW 635csi. My father bought it in 1981. I'm in process of major restore.

You should handle this very uninformative Wiki page for the rest of the car world.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisker_Latigo_CS

You're just one of two people who are qualified to do so besides those that built it, lol

I didn't, the owner was nowhere to be seen! I guess he figured that in the company of pre-war GP cars and such it was safe to walk away from a Stratos.

Someone that lives near my parents has a Lancia Fulvia HF, I'll need to snap a picture of it next time I see it. I know he commutes in it sometimes over the summer.
