Dyno'd my 2008 TTCQ today ...

Dyno'd my 2008 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro 6MT today and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The motor is stock except for a VTDA intake and it put down 225.20 awhp/222.85 awtq.

Thanks guys. I've sent an email to UM to see if they have a tune for me - that is most definitely the next modification for power. For exhaust, I need to find a nice sounding one that is not annoying as the car is too quiet

those numbers do sound good... whered you go to dyno? i want to see what mine puts out with the VTDA.. milltek nonres.. and stage 1 apr tune .. especially before i do the stage 2 upgrade.

I was expecting more, but maybe my expectations were too high. It does feel smoother, ill let you know what the numbers are if I get a chance to dyno it soon.

It would be good if you can dyno at Nightshift as well. Remember to tell Roman (the owner) that the TT has a height sensor on both the rear control arms and possibly have him either disconnect them or ensure that the straps don't break them. Both mine broke and the cat started to feel a bit like a Buick in the back in comfort mode. This makes me believe that these sensors are not just for headlight adjusting but are an input for the active MangeRide shocks.

I will most likely get a United Motorsports/Jeffrey Atwood tune for my car. If I can get a day off work, this will happen on Oct 15.

C2 had my car recently. Nearly 10% gains in HP/TQ with their software. Worth price of admission. They have been doing VR6 tunes for longer than most. I'm tempted to take my 3.6 CC there too. I'd suggest their software for your car.

There are other clips check out other videos uploaded by me. I think 5 total. It sounded a little tinny at first but once exhaust settled in sounds better now. Really woke up the whole experience!!

Thanks Shaka and C2 - some awesome power with just a tune. I am planning to get the United Motorsports tune this coming Monday (Oct 15) in CT. Will report back with results. If I can pick up another 10-12 whp with the tune, no top speed limiter and a 7K rpm redline I will be a happy man.
