Im new here, love this site so thought i would share.....Got this 99 1.8t wagon like 2 months ago from an old guy, bought it with 80k, he didnt drive it much, lol, had new tensioner, timing belt, water pump, ect installed at 70k...all records, papers, keys ect. Im stoked, good score for $3k, clean car. Havnt done much, fools be broke these days, all in due time.

    got some merc rims

unfinished box im making at work.

    donked out

    lowered some

    decided to make a rack

slats looked to plain, finished it around edges, then it looked like a baby gate

made wood rails, looked dumb, too round like it belongs on a bug

made removable metal rails, im used to aircooled ****, so just did something similiar

Decided to remove packing from inside the coffin today, i hate fiberglass, itch itch

my welding sucked but got the job done, stupid thin ass metal

now just wait for my coilovers to come in, roll fenders and sit this bitch on the tires

Definitely needs smaller wheels, Conestoga is not the look for that car.

Conestoga huh, lol, come on they are not that ****ing bad, not like they are 22s or something . 19s wernt my desired size, really want some 18s but if i told you how much im in these wheels and tires you would run them too, lol, def better than stock 15s.

headed out to a swap meet this am to sell some aircooled ****

thanks for compliment on the rack, was unsure about it.

Got some coilovers for my car, did some sanding and resprayed rims, also some new center caps. Did some ghetto fender rolling but turned out nice, Def looks better squatted down a little more.

used a wood closet rod, heat gun, didnt heat it that close, was just for pic, lol lol

Little patience, heat, and rolling over and over at different angles, worked perfect.

deck of cards comes in handy for something other than poker, lol.
