Hi, I have installed a Bagyard Bombers kit on my Scirocco 4 month ago. Lately I saw that my front left strut had a very small leak, something like 20 psi in 4 days of standing. Nothing noticeable while driving. Today I checked and I saw that the strut was leaking from the bottom, where the nut is (see photo). Is it bad like the strut is blown or is there an easy fix? Who can help me on this one?

Remove the nut and apply some thread sealant. Should fix it.

I'll try that! But my biggest fear is that there is something wrong with my strut. Air should not be there...

Happened to a buddy of mine. Thread sealant fixed it right up.

Do I need to take the strut off or can it be done with it mounted?

No more leak. I put loctite on the nut thread and on its flat face.
