WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
BURNs & LEAKS OIL (valve seals
Will probably need a exhaust, and cat, and o2 sensor.......
Has trouble starting but starts right up when you give it a little gas (my guess is fuel pump relay). ALSO should note that the car fires right up when sitting for a while, I didn't start it for two days and it fired right up, but idled like crap until it warmed up. That's about as much as I know about the starting problem.
Needs inner tie rod on passenger side replaced (steering wheel wiggles back and forth a bit, and the
wheel has a bit of loose play)
Brake pedal goes to the floor, not sure why. Shop gave it to me like that after they fixed my
E-brake cables, I think something happened when they bled the brakes. They're not doing anything about it (still stops though, even in the snow!
)
I still drive it everyday
despite the problems that have built up, it's still really reliable, and those problems should be nothing for a vw guy. I was gonna make it my toy, but right now seeing the dentist and my eye doctor are way more important.
I have a set of 15' bbs factory rims, and koni coilovers with 9,000 miles on them that I put on the car, those are for sale seperately. Also have a magnex exhaust brand new, for an mk2 1.8.
Drive it home
PRICE is 1500 OBO, I'm taking a huge hit with that price so nothing ridiculously low, I think its well worth the money considering all the work the previous owner took. Buy this car

Never mind. I finally got all the paperwork I need to get my Ecodiesel road legal. Which means I'll be dumping every available penny to making it road worthy. On that note I will say this car is absolutely beautiful. GLWS, hope it finds a good home.
