Really? Sound like crap? Just because a car isn't a holy vw or Audi doesn't mean it sounds like crap. Guess what, a lot of us moved onto bigger better cars outside of the vag scene yet still appreciate the fun. I did not hear one e46 that sounded like crap. And btw my first gear goes to 55mph @8400rpms. Please enlighten me as to why I should leave first on a local road in stop and go traffic?

Wow. Didn't realize there was so much hate for the BMW crowd. We have just as many tools as every other scene, you can't classify the tools into any crowd. Its not the PA people, NJ, the VW, the BMW, its just tools, driving whatever it might be wherever they may have came from.

i should have clairfied that i meant e46 m3's, none of them and i mena not one ever waved to say thank you if you let them out in traffic i had 2 yes two block me in traffic so i couldnt get over to make a u turn i thanked them both kindly for not letting me over by flipping them off, from what i saw most of the e46 m3's were typical bmw drivers

I let dozens of cars out in front of me, and was let in by many people. I was thoroughly impressed with how courteous all of the modified cars down there were (stock cars seemed pissy, SUVs, etc).

I owned an e46 m3 with $2k dixis exhaust. It sounded like ****.

That's my e36 with the custom carving on the drivers side. I was very impressed when I discovered that.

Maybe you needed more than a muffler, but that sir is a beautiful exhaust.

I am just going to put in my 2cents for ****s and giggles as a view of my weekend from a BMW owners standpoint.

First off i drove the maroon e36 with the roofrack (If you have pics please let me know )

I have always been envious of the VW community from the events you have, the locations, the massive self expressions of yourselfs through your cars (The BMW community has none of this when it comes to MOST of them. Sadly there is no variety amounts the overwhelming purists. )

For me, i appreciate any make, model and what the owner has put into his car bought or DIY.

I have alot of VW friends and they always invite me to come with every year.

IMO any HUGE event like this will have ass hats. You cannot control this.
I for one like to just sit back and enjoy the **** show. The cops were there for a reason and i appreciate everything they have done this weekend. They have every right to be on edge, with people drinking you cannot guess what type of person they are or how they will react.

I gave as many waves, nods, thumbs up and horn beeps as i could to show my appreciation for your event.

I just wanted to thank you guys for giving me yet another awesome weekend in OCMD.

Yeah they're all d-bags for sure. I'd say this to their face any day of the week, except for when they're actually in front of me in person.

That being said, they are also the nicest guys I've ever met. Although I've never met them, I have read this information on the internet and therefore it's probably true.

Another thing to add is that while they yell racist comments and throw pizza and beer at cars, I also personally witnessed them helping old ladies cross the street and save kittens from trees. Now, when I say "personally witnessed," that is a slight exaggeration, but since this is the internet we'll just assume it's fact.

Thanks, much quicker when driven to redline. The difference between 4-5k boost and 8-8.3k boost is not insignificant (nearly double)
