Hi there, have anyone here plasti dipped their grille? Is there any method other than removing the whole bumper, I was trying to look for places to fit a cardboard in there(failed), so if anyone has a method to block the dip from the radiator while dipping their front grille please tell, tons of thanks!.

Since I only did the grille surround I just used a roll of paper towels to cover the grille, but I was able to slip some behind the grille just in case.

I wouldn't do it without at least removing the bumper first. It isn't that hard, takes maybe 30 minutes your first time. While you have the bumper off you might as well go ahead and take the grille off too. A little extra work is all the difference between a crappy result and a respectable one.

When I did mine i used some really thin painters plastic and in the three grooves under the grill i just fed it up in there, using a painting stick to coax it up to the top, covered up everything behind it, taped up around the surround and such, and dipped away. When it was all done, pulled out the painters plastic, checked the radiator with a flash light, no black to be seen! Done and done. Granted removing the bumper is the best option, but sometimes its just not the only one
