Thanks! Yeah I didn't do much cruising unfortunately. Too much other **** to do.

Both of those would be epic. With the 500SL you get the euro trim, but I couldn't turn down a 4 speed manual if one ever popped up for a good price.

both of them are euro models, i kinda like the 280 sl because it has a plaid interior, as the 500 just has standard leather, the only killer on the 280 it doesn't have the headlamps and its in not as great a shape as the 500.

and the fact that it has an M110 as the 500 has the M117

I much rather the M117

I work at a mercedes benz specialist mainly work on the older stuff and do restorations, not too fond of anything past a W124
