I took a National Parks trip back in July with a lot of good roads, as well. Around Mt Rushmore was really good, around Yellowstone was pretty top notch, heading into Rocky Mountain NP was great driving through a canyon, leaving Zion NP and heading to Grand Canyon had some wonderful corners, as well.

If anyone plans on a trip around any of those, I can provide a list of the roads I took. I still have the Google Map saved, iirc.

My Nordschleife is, well, the Nordschleife.

It was PA23 and Old Gulph road back in Philly.

that loop portion is a few miles long. the drive to that loop is the best part though.

There are some unbelievable roads in southern Ohio, West Virginia and Virginia, like Ohio 555 south from Dover to the Ohio River, WV 250 south from Wheeling to Staunton, 50 and 33 west through WV to Virginia, etc.

this loop would take about an hour to drive, and is pretty technical. a lot of blind turns and woods, it's great to drive fast or slow.
I'm always right. The sooner you realize this, the easier things will be.

    those roads look insane!

not to be a rule breaker, but how was the local PD presence on these roads? are the speed limits usually enforced? I envy you and the roads/scenery! amazing...

Depends on the location. I didn't see too many LEO's... but the thing to watch out for, and the thing that will slow you down mostly, are other tourists. Especially up around Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. The roads around there were great... but the traffic could be horrid. We went in the middle of July though... so the busy season.
