1999 audi a6 cruise control not working

I have a 1999 a6 2.8 in the shop now cruise control not working. only history i know a few weeks ago someone put a used abs control module in and for some reason i cannot get into the coding. i wanted to see if there were any areas where you need to put a number if it has cruise control. I tried using the login number per ross tech website and no good. I may be tracing the wrong issue cause it does have a brake light switch fault code and i do know that was replaced recently also so where do i start VCDS Version: Release 11.11.4 (x64)

That abs module does not support coding. It is plug and play. My 04 passat has the same module.

The brake switch fault is causing your cruise control problem.
