9 codes!!!!

I have a 2001 1.8 t. It has started idling and running rough. I pulled up 9 codes P1421 P1425 P1426 P1427 P1428 p0300 p0302 & p0303. Any ideas why so many codes and what the problem(s) might be?

You, my friend, have some electrical issues. Check your fuses, make sure they're all good. Then check your grounds on the motor, make sure they're all solid, no cracks, or breaks. They're the tan colored wires. These are for injector harness for the p1425/6/7/8, your secondary air injector, and the 0300 codes are also for fuel injectors, likely related to the 1425/6/7/8 codes. I personally would go through the wiring on all 4 injectors and make sure they're not heat damaged.

Best case scenario, you've got some popped fuses, and you can just replace those. Worst case, you'll have to replace the harness. Not a tough job, but time consuming, and honestly a little daunting.

Thanks for the help. I will give that a shot when I get home. A few people though it was my fuel filter. Sounds like I shouldn't worry about that. Can you clarify the popped fuses you mentioned in not exactly sure what to look for.

Scratch that clarification on the popped fuses. I misread your post. Thanks I will post what I find out.

If you've changed your fuel filter in the last 30k or so miles, it should be fine. Otherwise, change it out regardless, just to eliminate it. Fortunately, they're not that expensive.
