I saw this on Saturday and man. I was rocked. What a great film, even if it does have some flaws. No spoilers coming from me, just go see it.

I agree, great movie. Can't take your eyes off of the screen while it's playing.

Saw it on Friday and loved it. The kid that played Cid was a phenomenal actor, the emotions a kid that age was able to display was unreal. The story was pretty good too although there were some glaring plot holes I was able to look past them and enjoy the movie for what it was.

I thought the movie for the most part fixed the plot holes that it created. Thats why I enjoyed it so much.

And yes, that child actor was excellent.

    Spoilers here, highlight to read.

Well, the whole reason for sending people back is so they can dispose of the bodies without being "tracked". Yet the mob kills future Joe's wife and leaves her body in the burning house. Also the rainmaker is said to have killed numerous people.

From me! Was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time. Kind of a unique view of the future.

The girlfriend and I had two free tickets and were having a hard time choosing between this and Lawless. We ended up seeing Lawless but this is definitely next on our list.

I thought it was great too. I thought of TCL when he got into his Miata though and chuckled in my head.

Definitely interested in seeing this. Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come a long way since 3rd Rock and is quickly becoming quite a serious lead actor. Good to hear the positive reviews.

    Great movie. Recommended.

My wife loved that little boy. She kept saying how good of a job he did for his age.

    highlight for response:
Not sure what you're getting at.. sending people back is obviously easier to hide the bodies and not get tracked, cause the bodies are in a completely different time... they accidentally killed the wife in the future.. so they just torched the whole place. And the rainmaker don't even give a sh*t about getting tracked - he just goes professor X on everyone in the future!

just got back from the movie. great great movie. its a time travel movie, so you're gonna find plot holes. But i think the ending of the movie was pretty good to let you ignore them.

SPOILER DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SPOILED OR SCRATCH YOUR HEAD?
so i had to clear my thoughts so i put together this picture. what am i missing?

I loved it all the way up until the rain maker showed up.

He was great, but it ruined the film for me. Just didn't fit somehow.

And just erasing like that, c'mon.

Saw this movie this past weekend and the gf and I left feeling underwhelmed for some reason. I agree, the kid did a great job with his part but the rest of the movie just didnt do it for either of us. In my opinion, a good premise, poorly executed. We chose Loopers over Taken 2 and I dont believe that was the best idea...

Looper has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Taken 2 has a 19% rating. Trust me, you made the right decision.

saw both this weekend. Taken 2 was not that good. it's basically the same thing as the first movie, only worse

I saw Looper tonight. I was really pushing to see the new Resident Evil but my date pointed out its 18% RT score and I have to concede RE4 wasn't that great. Looper was pretty good.

He was one of the best parts of Inception.

Avoiding the spoilers, plan on seeing it this weekend.
