Thread: 2007 Eos Lower grill removal

  1. 10-01-2012 10:42 AM #1
I am trying to take of the front grill to paint it black. The top part comes off no problem with the removal of the four screws. The problem is with the lower section. The bottom part pulls out no problem, but the top edge almost seems glued to the bumper structure. I don't see any fasteners. I have tried pulling pretty hard to the point that I am afraid that it is going to break. Is there something that I am missing?

I believe that it's clips all the way around. Can you see or feel any clips by looking through the grill with a flashlight or worklight?

After a little more examination I could identify three clips on the top. I had to use a putty knife and do a little prying to finally get it to release. Thanks for the help.
