    More then likely someone is not going to know the specs of someone else's car. Is there a unit of measurement that you use to know how much fender work was done? you can tell how much work was done just buy looking at it.

    i'd assume specs are out there somewhere.... or if it's your own car you'd know? and yes inches? there are different ways of pulling fenders as well. As in If people just used a phone book, fender roller, baseball bat, hammer, or had to add metal to the fender to make these wheels fit....

    ask the owners for the specs?

    good place to start.

    most have added metal in the rear at least or there are some fenders you can buy for the MKV that will allow a wider wheel in the front.
