Thread: Vibration in the Brake Pedal

  1. 10-01-2012 06:16 PM #1
I'm getting a weird vibration in the brake pedal which corresponds to how high the RPMs are. At idle, there's barely any vibration, at driving speeds/RPMs, if I let off the gas and leave it in gear it vibrates quite a bit. It also does this in idle not moving, so I'm sure it's not a warped rotor or anything of the sort.

I was thinking a motor mount? but I'm no pro with braking systems so maybe one of you can help me out.

    Car: 2007 GTI 6-speed
Modifications: Dogbone mounts, transmission mount, intake, exhaust, apr stage 2, cup kit, fmic

    Thanks guys.

Check and see if the intake is hitting the brake fluid reservoir, even if it doesn't look like it make some space to be sure.

+1 Interwebs to you my friend. THANK YOU.

The rubber clip holding the intake broke and it was resting against the reservoir.

    I owe you a beer
