A few months back there was a user named "InternetMeme" who claimed to be an uber-rich bond trader or something like that, who was in the market for an F40. Things happened. Details were research...InternetMeme was found to be fake.

Sherpa23F comes along and posts a bagel on an F40 at TCL's request. ATL_Av8r holds out hope that this one is legit. So far it's looking good.

They only catch fire if you subscribe to Jalopnik. Lucky for me...

Not carpet, just a rug on rubber rug mat. Rubber mat is bigger than the rug by a little.

Please, I don't know an F40 owner who hasn't put that on a car yet. We're way popular.

Plus I prefer to imagine those parts are for your fit.

You left out the part where I made a post about suggestions for a new daily driver only to get, when people saw the cars in my profile, the most retarded, vitriolic posts calling me out as some Internet Meme and a troller and other stuff. There are people on here that know who I am and they did chime in but it took me while to figure out what the whole Internet Meme crap was. In fact, I have only read the frist 5 posts and the last 5 in that thread. One of these days I will find it again and read the whole thing.

    Shenanigans,

we need more proof. Please post a picture of your significant other (please don't be gay) wearing a pink bra standing in front of the car. Only then will I be convinced.

Badass car, would love to hear sound clips of the exhaust before and after the changes are made.

Oh the irony - first the InternetMeme debacle busted by sleuthing TCL detectives, now a real F40 owner tossing a bagel on his spoiler and telling TCL to go f*** itself.

    Love it.

There's a guy nearby who regularly brings his F40 to the local cars and coffee. Out of all the crazy stuff I've seen there over the past couple years, that F40 is still tops in my book. In fact it might well be my favorite car evar.

this is basically TCL history. a true high point. The Car Lounge is back. and i don't use capitals lightly. just look at that composition.

i, too, noticed with glee the shabby-ish carpet, but i guess that's just what guys with F40s use to keep grime off their garage floors. we are all just prisoners here of our own device.

thanks for freeing us from the meme, sherpa. your taste in vehicular pleasure is inspiring. may all your inconel exhausts resonate with the screams of dead british bond traders.

Um, that's not my garage floor. That's the rug in a room in my house. Confession: I don't spend a lot of money on banal things like furniture so I have a room in my house with just a rug for my kids to play on. I don't really see the point of furnishing the whole house and no, it's not especially big or mansionesque. I just don't use the whole house. Anyway, it also works great to store some extra parts that I like looking at .

Thanks for the other nice words.

EDIT: Forgot to say extra points for the Eagles reference.
