His latest is very interesting indeed and would go nicely in that "orange cars" thread

I have never been one to have a "collection." I just don't know how you drive that many cars or take care of them properly. I don't know why people own cars they don't want to drive because they don't want to put miles on it. I'm not saying that's wrong; I'm only saying I don't get it as it doesn't appeal to me. That said, I am glad that there are people that do because they really have a neat group of cars to look at and admire and it's neat to hear the comparisons. Plus some of the owners, like Jas, are truly wonderful and exception people.

Also, my car doesn't get started unless its going to get driven on a real drive. I don't think it's good for a car to start and idle and then get turned off. It builds just enough condensation to do damage to cylinder walls and also the oil temp never gets properly high, not to mention there's no load on the moving parts and such that need it. I'm not judging, just saying that I don't do it.

The other thing I'm super OCD about are rpm's and oil temps. I am really careful about warming up the car properly before any real rpm's and load.

D, I think that there are shots of my car all over the internet because I see them from time to time but I don't actually have them. People take pics and post them all over but never send them to me. If you know where they are, feel free to post them up.

They'll go on when I do the service in December/January. I'll post pics when it's all done.

That's right. Ronnie took those. I don't have them though. There are a whole bunch that I see that have my license plates which I'm not a fan of, though. These still have the old plates although Ronnie may have blanked them out (I hope).

Right on with the Ferrari F40 and driving it !!! I totally feel the same way about them not being cool after the F355 too, although my experience with them is very limited. The Audi is cool too,and I understand wanting to be low-key with the daily, but a Fit ??? Im guessing that Fit is just temp. until you get the Audi reliable enough to daily , right ? I hope to see&hear your F40 at a car meet when I finally move back to Denver.

You've got an F40, I doubt you get high so drive around with no plates, keep getting pulled over and just pay the damn fee. Remember: You've got an F40, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING.

I actually just sold the Fit and the Audi and bought a Carrera 4. Figure it's the best of all worlds, except gas mileage. Insurance dropped by $1k a year, too.

FYI, CA plates are basically impossible to look up unless you're a cop or work at DMV. I wouldn't worry.

not to mention the sheer multitude of people that see it on the street driving that could actually follow you home as opposed to the broke 23 year old in some state 600 miles away that isnt gonna do ****.

OP, one of my favorite wheels of all time are the exact Enkei F40 LMs wheels in your possession. They are going to look amazing!!
