Solo Werks S1 Coilover System - Premium Entry Level Coilover Suspension!

Solo Werks kits feature:

• Gold Heavy Zinc Plated Housings for superb corrosion resistance
• Silver spring perches - double lock ring design
• Platform Specific Spring Rates and Matched Valving
• Front & Rear 35-85mm (1.4-3.3") Lowering Range (application dependent)
• Shortened Sway Bar End links (when necessary)

Each Kit can contain (depending on application):

• 2 Front Threaded Coilover Dampers -Heavy Gold Zinc Plated with dual locking ring spring perches

Designed by a joint engineering staff from Germany and the USA, the S1 coilover is built for the enthusiast that is looking for an ideal balance of ride quality and performance.

The front the S1 coilover for the MK5/6 VW/Audi Group platform features a specially designed progressive spring or linear rate spring & helper spring combined with a valving matched twin tube low pressure gas damper mounted in a new heavy gold zinc plated threaded coilover housing that provides not only great handling, but also exceptional corrosion resistance.

The rear features a progressive coil spring & adjustable threaded perch system, or linear race spring and helper along with a specially tuned sport damper or threaded body coilover that is matched to the lowering range of the coil/perch combination.

Fantastic specs!. Before I place my order, can you let me know if the gold plating 24ct, 18ct or 9ct? Also, although I know that gold is highly resistant to corrosion, as you are aware, silver tarnishes like a bitch! Any issues if I were to run these in my amphibious Jetta?
