A little curious if the multifunction steering wheel from a 2012 Tiguan (or any other VW for that matter) would be plug and play into a 2010 tiguan. I do have the white MFD and the controls on my steering wheel already, but I'm spoiled by the options on my CC as compared to the few button on my tig.
Thanks in advance

Yes, you can do it, but you need to purchase a steering wheel control module also. I tried it and the buttons wouldn't work.

I believe higher end Tigs already have the correct steering control. Don't quote me on that though.

2010 has a completely different button setup then what you see there. You will need at the minimum, a steering wheel, an airbag, and Vag Com coding. Whether or not you need a new steering control module I don't know.
Your best bet is to head over to Golfmkv.com and see what the MK5 guys need to do in order to get an MK6 steering wheel to work.
