Yeah, I have yet to receive an email back, but I'll be there either way. From what Dave conveyed, they had 10 times the applicants this year. While they are accepting more cars, they still don't have room for everyone; quality over quantity. Registration just closed Wednesday night, I would imagine we hear something next week. Either way, the caliber of cars is so high, no one should be upset about being turned down.

Yeah I can only imagine how much quality applied this year after the jump up last year. Really stoked for te show, definitely a favorite. I may just start working on my car one week earlier now haha.

A lot of us got a rejection email...

Funny thing is there were 4 or 5 canibeat featured cars (such as mine and pgjettaftw's) that didn't get in, yet some of the cars I've seen get the acceptance email (via instagram) are ehhhhh, okay I guess.

I'm not one for popularity, but the only justification of me driving through Jersey would to actually be in the show. So no show? No go for me. I'll probably be tearing into the car anyways... If I find a winter beater, then the engine's coming out.

I personally just think it's rude that I still have not gotten a response when said deadline is over and they promised to have all acceptance and rejection emails out to us by the 4th. Show is a week away and if I'm picked to show I would like to book a hotel to stay the night before, etc.
