Battery Light On. Car shuts off.

So what do you guys think my problem is?

I have a new battery on the car but the battery light is on in the dash. Turns out my car is running on my battery until there is no juice left in it, then it dies.

I thought it was my alternator so I purchased a new one. Got the new alternator installed and the battery light is still on. When I turned on the car with the new alternator, it runs until the battery juice is out then cuts off.

All of the grounds seems fine and everything is connected.

Check the positive cable from the alternator to the engine compatment fuse-box (which then goes to the battery). I think there is a fusible link on the front of the engine compartment fuse-box.

Sure enough. I just checked the 200 amp fuse. It is blown. Hopefully this is it! I will run and purchase it tomorrow!!

I completely rebuild my car and all that was left is a fuse. -__-
