    guys
    I'm looking for the spring that pushes out the slide out tray above the stereo system.

    my spring broke one of the "legs" and it's falling to the back.

    does anyone have an idea where I could purchase an extra one?

    Dealer sells the full tray assembly with the spring for ~$120.

    Junkyard! most of the time they don't even care for trays and stuff like that and if you pull it yourself it will be $5-10.

    i already called quite a few in the area, none seem to have newer passats on their lots.
    I'll keep my eyes open, if you come across one, I can paypal $10 for the part shipped
