The battery might be slightly overdue for a service.

How does one not notice anything is wrong when your brakes look like that.

We need to come up with a new product that is sold at Autobone, Adtrance, etc

Call it "tire retread tape"- but put in small letters that it is for cosmetic use only.
But basically it would be a nylon reinforced duct tape (with the nylon perforated every foot for tearing off the roll) with a pvc surface texture that looked like tire tread and a special duct tape glue that cured even harder once heated.
Some people might get quite a bit of extra run time on bald tires.

But like the picture- I suspect most are just trying to get a bad tire to last until they get their next paycheck.... and they still have three days of work before that.

Oil floats, seen it somewhat similar with coolant, coolant comes out perfectly clean then at the end the rest of the nasty crap comes.

I can get on board with selling a dumb product to dumb people for profit, but I'd be a bit uneasy about sending 2 ton steel objects down the road with false confidence in the drivers that their tires will hold up in an emergency at 60mph (or any other speed for that matter).

In other words, the innocent drivers could be paying for the dumb drivers' mistakes.
