Now, yes, I am upper level management and can afford my 60/mile a day commute, but for many, that is simply not an option. Again, work with people who have very few options and you'll realize that brakes are just not very high on the list or priorities when feeding their kids and feeding themselves come first.
Don't like it? Raise the minimum wage, raise the welfare payments, stop kicking people off the "government dole" because you're a vindictive c*nt, but whatever you do, don't tell someone that is trying to manage with their own lot in life that they aren't doing it right because they choose to feed and clothe themselves over spending inflated prices on auto parts at the local Midas.

Link to the mouse pic? I collected hubcaps as a kid, and found not one but two of the same Buick Century hubcaps with mouse skeletons fused to the inside of the clip ring. Those hubcaps stuck out far enough for there to be a big space for a mouse to climb in and sleep, and the scaly rust on the clips likely provided a surface for the now-dead mouse to stick to.
