Should we expect now on to get a regular dose of advertising with our VAG news headlines?
Previous hompages had a different more appropriate spot for product releases aka advertisements.

The main feed. Up until now I thought it was exclusively for VW corporate news and products.

That's a product announcement for a product that's relevant to a lot of our users. We've often run items like that in the feed in the past, and this is nothing new.

With the redesign that happened, the front page layout is slightly different. Instead of grouping the press releases at the bottom and keeping news stories at the top, now the main feed is an aggregator that lists everything. This helps keep the info on the front page fresh, and we don't run very many press releases, so it doesn't overpower the content ratio.
