Not for a VW but for a friend of mines Mini cooper.

Just looking for a local place to grab some LED plate bulbs, instead of having to order them from ECS.

I know alot of the MKV guys have made this upgrade so thought maybe someone here could give me a heads up.

    thanks!

Speaking of MKV guys and LED bulbs - I ordered a kit from ECS earlier this year and they're ALL dead except the footwell bulbs. I've been meaning to give them a shout to see if anything can be done (maybe they had a bad batch, etc).

Just a heads up for the others.
    Sorry for the threadjack.

3 LED would have been more than enough for licence plates.

I have one 6 LED to light up my trunk, and it does a great job.
Got all of mine from superbrightled.com, not local tho....

You're right, I find them a bit too bright, One of them already crapped out anyway, I'm going to complain and grab the 3 LED versions.
