Like title states im looking for info of the height on a 205 45 17x9.5 after stretching. Non stretch charts show 24.46. would it be safe to assume it would reduce to like 1 inch less in height?

Tire diameter/height does not change when stretching.

So you are only getting the appearance that it looks shorter? For some reason i thought the stretch would pull the tire downward reducing height. Just thinking physics here thx for the reply.

I know it doesn't seem logical but, it's just the sidewall of the tire that stretches. The tread, and all the belts that support it are of a static length thereby making the circumference and height constant. The tire overall may appear shorter but it's an optical illusion due to the angle of the sidewall.
