Use tiguan springs your car will lift about an inch from stock

I have a 2010 TDI Sportwagen that I use for a fairly long distance commuter. 75000 in 2 years. The problem is that when I fully load it with 3 other guys & gear (one fairly hefty fella) the mud guards scrape when I hit bumps, ramps and other minor obstructions. Other than making the fat guy walk, does anyone have a suggestion how I can raise the rear end a little? The shop that did my APR tuneup suggested that, since the Tiguan shares the same chassis I can install the stock springs & shocks on the Sportwagen and be good to go. Have you heard that? Every suspension option I have seen so far lowers the car.

It's ok if you disagree with me, I can't force you to be right.

This thread shows Tiguan springs on a JSW: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...0-JSW-TDI-LOVE!
It raises the car a bit and he reported better handling. There's a picture showing the rear wheel fender gap to be about 4".

That's perfect! Exactly what I've been looking for! When we get a little snow (4-6") this thing just pushes it around. The tiggy springs ought to improve the winter driveability alot. AND the fat guy can ride in the back seat without the ass end scraping. Very cool - thanks.
