Thread: Tire place in Buffalo?

  1. 10-02-2012 11:33 PM #1
I am gonna have some wheel's shipped to Buffalo and drive them back over. Ideally, I'd like to have tire's wrapped on and just throw them onto my car and drive back with my winter's and "claim" those instead.

Please let me know if near by reputable Tire and Mounting shop's.

    Cheers,

I did this when I went to Michigan. I had great service from Discount Tire when I bought my new wheel set up with Michelins. Check if Buffalo has one.

not sure where you're ordering tires from but tirerack pretty much had the best price. tirerack also recommends a few shops so that's where i was going to get them done. so check there?

if you ssearch the forums i think you will also find a thread about a shop in buffalo that does installs and they even sell tires for cheap, esp to canadians.

I went to the Firestone in military road in Niagara.

Not sure about stretched tires etc, but for regular mounting they did the job fine for me.

Since we are on the subject of Buffalo have any of you guys or gals ever bought Volkswagen OEM parts from any VW dealers in the area there? I was thinking it might be cheaper to buy a few things in the states versus from Canadian VW dealers...

I maybe going for a stretched look, so a recommended tire shop that can install stretch tires would be appreciated.
