Impromptu 5000 rpm clutch drop sends my just purchased super big gulp flying from the center cup holder to the rear, where it slams into the unibrace and explodes. Stupid hondas fault...

That wouldn't have happened if you had an armrest. Instead, it would've spilled under both seats.

Now that's an idea. at least the mess would have been somewhat contained.

I should of reved it higher. It hooked immediately, causing a violent launch, but then bogged. Still came out ahead though. Too bad I had to spend the following three hours cleaning up the mess.

I cringed at the thought of a super big gulp flying into my back seat.

Just make sure to back into your space first.

If you do it at UNCA, you will break at least 3 hippies necks when you do so.

The R32 loves 5,000 rpm launches. Pre-load the clutch, find and hold 5,000 rpms then quickly release the clutch and hang on.

I can't stand it. I would have gone to school somewhere else, but I didn't feel like moving again. Why does my car bog when I launch? It seems to do it every time. Is it driver error?

I wouldn't be surprised if you ran over a drum circle. My car always bogs down when a djembe is lodged under the skid plate.

if your side-stepping, you're always going to get somewhat of a bog. i rev around 4.6k then as i floor it, I kick my foot off of the side of the clutch and the car just flies.

On another note, I laughed this morning when I got into the car and reached for the esp button. Soda splash marks on the ac vents. Didn't even think to check the front for spillage.
