Thread: AEG idle adaption

    Hey all I am looking for the adaptaion that I can go into to correct for the idea setting, I remember a adapation that would let me change the idle 50 rpm.... any help would be great.

    Idle isn't adjustable at all.

    Whenever the throttle body is cleaned, disconnected, etc, you must perform an adaptation (effectively an idle position learn on AEG) with VCDS or an OE-capable scan tool. That only teaches the ECU the throttle stops though, there is no manual idle speed adjustment. The ECU adjusts as necessary.
