Calling all gurus! Need help with a swap!...

CALLING ALL GURUS!!!! I'm doing a auto to manual swap on a 2001 3.5 cabrio. Some people are telling me I just need the typical components for the swap ( trans, tranny bolts, clutch pedal, clutch cable, new clutch pack, shifter tower and linkage) some other people are saying I also need a mk4 ecu but use a mk3 harness, new axles, and starter .. what EXACTLY do I need to do the swap?..
