hahahahahaa well let me tell you that I have. and if you have read any of my other post you will know that my car isnt stock therefor every google search on this code is with the stock air box secondary intake and I do not have the stock airbox. so while were here any ideas> or anyone know how to fix this?![]()

You should actually get away with doing a SAI delete... I haven't done it, so I'm not sure how though

Do a vac test on the car via the FAQ stuff. It's either a leak through the housing for the SAI or the pump itself is shot

No. The SAIP is a pollution control device and only runs briefly at startup. It has no effect on the operation of the engine. Depending on where you live, you'll probably have to get it fixed to pass inspection.
Ideal solution is to restore the stock airbox; usually improves performance as well. Some "chip" manufacturers, as part of upgrading your ECU, will delete the code that checks the SAI system.

That code just popped up on my 01 Wagon with AWM engine in it...this is the first time so I just cleared it.
Motor is 100% stock at this point.
