I just did my cam follower replacement (pictures are below if interested in the amount of wear) and I noticed these lines were cracked and literally just came off. I believe they are vacuum lines but I am not 100% sure. I obviously need to replace them (zip tied them for now ) and was wondering if there are any better recommendations than OEM.

    First, the cracked lines:

    and now the cam follower

hey just did my cam follower switch to! ur follower looks like it still had a good bit of life still in it, imo
as for the lines i had a bit of warranty work done few months ago and they told me those lines looked old and should be replace so i got the new style oem ones they are a new rubber that wont dry out and yes those are vac lines u may be able to find aftermarket or old oem ones on places like autopartswarehouse.com or a sites like that
    good luck

as far as the cam follower goes, yeah, it does look ok but i went with the better safe than sorry route. I went ahead and ordered a new OEM line and value unit for the car. I hope that I get the new type rather than the old type.
