Can anyone point me in the right direction and list the best static suspension for the tdi Jetta sedan. I've been searching and bfi is going to come out with coil overs soon, but I can't wait. I'm tired of people asking me to air out. Btw I have ccw wheels with stretched tires so lower is better. Thanks.

It's all about preference. I went the coilover route just because I wanted a firmer and way lower ride. You can go springs, I've heard good things about them but also bad things. The jetta on the post above looks great but IMO it could go maybe an inch and half lower. It's all preference, at the end of the day, it's your car and you do what you think will look best. Out of curiosity, what CCW's do you have??

They used to be on my MK6 GTI before anyone says anything about buying wheels before suspension. I miss my GTI, but I traded in for Jetta TDI due to commuting to work and travel.

YES!! TDI COILOVERS I NEED SOME!!

that being said... I know the mounts are 55mm but i cant seem to find any with a nice 2.5" + drop.. I am not tracking the car so i just want the looks and some better handling..

I know Ksports have a 55mm mount setup but im unsure if they will work in the rears... Everyone is telling me to go air but air is so expensive.

Also can you cross between the b8 a4 audi? and the mk6? that would open up more parts

    Thank VWV!

I'm willing to bet that B8s have IRS so no, you can't swap parts.

An inch and a half lower? That would be laying my votex kit on the ground, hell it already scrapes the fender wells when going fast enough over dips or bumps. The front you can't even fit your hand in, I'd say its low enough for daily driving.

After talking to a black forest industries rep. They will be coming out with a coil over set up made by JOM. They have one on their tdi Jetta project. The coil overs are still prototypes so they won't be released until a few weeks, but if you email their site they will let you know when they release it. I do like the BG setup. Kane699 Where did you get it so I can see if it's worth it til I can afford air ride. Thanks
