This is a 1990 Jetta coupe project I have been working on for 6 years......I now have a wife, child, mortgage etc and the car just isn't a priority. I do not have to sell the car, I just figure its time to part with it. If I cannot get what I want for it I'll part it out. The engine, trans, suspension, brakes etc all have 6000 miles on them. If there is a little surface rust on something, such as the axle shafts....keep in mind I have been working on this car for 6 years. When it says new by the part, assume 6000 miles. The car is mechanically good to go.......the body has a little rust here and there(mainly on the passenger door) but no rot. I do have a spare black passenger door with one little minor ding. I have a really nice set of rain gutters for the car that I was going to mod to fit that can go with it too. I was in the middle of working out the interior when I lost interest in the project. The interior is missing front and rear panels, rear seats. The body was the last thing I was going to do and I never got around to it. I built the engine, an ABA 2.0, with the intention running a monster turbo, hence the o-ringed block, H beam rods 9:1 pistons etc, so its ready to go if you have big turbo in mind. I am sure I have left out a few things, if you have any questions feel free to ask. If someone is really interested and comes with cash I have no problem pulling the oil pan so they can see the pistons and rods.
I am firm on the price of $5000 at the moment, and not looking for any trades.
