    Engine/Mechanical:
    - AEB 1.8T
    - K04
    - O20 Trans
    - Short Ram Intake
    - Chipped ECU
    - Basically just want about 200whp.

    Exterior
    - Single Rounds
    - Filled Markers & Antenna
    - ATS Classics or Corrado Steelies
    - Euro Metal front Bumper

Well, that's all I can think of for now. Let me know what y'all think! I'll post pictures very soon to show you guys how clean the Caddy is!

    Payed: $700
    $ From old parts: $350

To make the engine work you'll need 9A (2.0L 16V) pistons and to re-bush the rods to fit. Also an 020 transmission would be fine with that combo, save some time and money.
If you make something idiot proof, a better idiot will come along.

I've kept it all MK1 and MK2 on my truck and have been pretty pleased... MK4 stuff would look out of place in my opinion.

I personally feel that rear discs are a solution without a problem on caddys.
wanted: early MK2 Golf or Jetta GTD rear badge -- any reasonable condition

same here. op can substitute a lot of the mk4 parts for mk3 and achieve the same look but cheaper.

ie drivers edition knob, single din radio with aux in etc.

also, nothing wrong with a wish list... nothing worse than redoing whole car and finishing with a mess of parts that look/work horribly together.

yeah, i heard that too. i probably won't. and that's a good point too, minus the MK3 leathers, I might just use MK2 parts for the rest.

fyi, mk3 seats are not a direct swap.

    that list is very do-able!

ABA swap are a dime a dozen and with the info on vortex can be done for cheap and in one day! all the rest is basic. Save your oney and dont loose focus!
