I was really disappointed in the lack of New Beetles at H2O this year. You all need to bring your game and show up next year. I drove 8 hours from Boston, and I was the ONLY one in the super mod/full custom class, and there were only three others in the show. We should organize a GTG next year.

I'd like to bring mine next year, so theres one more new Beetle that will be going.
    Volkswagens are my hobby/habit/obsession.

I was there in my TS crusin around sat nite, I saw hand full of Nb's.
I tried to get a little gtg over on the ORG but not much interest. i am willing to shoot for next year though if we get enough interest I will do the leg work and find a place that will let us hang out.

There's never been many NB's at the shows, especially H2O. When I went, I saw maybe 3 or 4 in total all weekend. My car was there but wasn't shown, just parked with club parking. SoWo was a bit better I guess, but the NB just isn't really a show car to most people unfortunately.

Why is that every Golf witha drop and wheels is show worthy, most times the wheels are worth more then the car.
I actually saw more NB's cruisin around this year then any other years previous.
IMO it's the "scene" that is changing this show. "H2Oi", has gone from a VAG enthusiast show to a stanced show. Hence all the non VAG cars there. I will still attend each year, mostly for the cars, but somewhat for the antics, probably because it's only a 15min drive for me.
Maybe I am just getting old, but T.o.D. and SoWo are the only shows that are a must do for me.
Still kickin around Roswell, and Dubs on the Boards in Nj.

But every year I try a gtg at H20, and I will try again next year
We wanna see you at T.o.D 13 Jess.

I'm really hoping I can make T.O.D happen this year. I've lived in NC for over 6 years now and still haven't been! Sad I never made it while I had my NB, but I still have a VW and really need to meet a bunch of NB peeps I've talked to for so long online.

Well you still have Honorary status with us. And you wont be the only square there. So make it happen. I know a lot of Orgers that would love to finally get to meet Smiley.
