    Here is how I installed the relocation block. this is what came with the kit. I had to buy the adaptor fitting seperatly and abviously it did not come with the black AN fitting...

    first I took the oil filter out. I needed the extra room to get to the oil pressure port on the filter housing.

    I couldn't find a good spot to mount the block with the short hose AND i'm not a big fan of that hose material so I made a new hose. 2' steel braided hose, crimped on ends 1/8inc pipe thread on both ends

    put thread tape on the fitting and threaded it into the oil port.

    I found a spot on the head that was not used and would work just fine to mount the block to. I fabed up a bracket to bolt onto the block and the head.

    block with all the ports used. oil sensor, inlet, turbo, and plug

    the adaptor fitting for bsp to pipe.. this is the half ass wayusing an adaptor and I do not approve of it, BUT it will work for now. I'll get the bsp to #4 fitting later

    mounted to the head

    ran my oil sensor wiring through the fire wall above the brake booster into the black wire tray, out by my maf sensor wiring and under the filter to the sensor

    the only thing I need to do now is make a new shorter oil feed hose

    Word from the wise, make sure to cover the ss hose with something. ss hose acts like a file and rubs through anything it lays against.

    Fish,

    Whats the size of the tap on the oil filter housing? Its looks like you used an 1/8 inch NPT?

    Thanks

    Bill

    Thats a big 10-4 Bill. my car originally had the black AN fitting in that port that fed the turbo oil feed line. I'm assuming it came npt factory but if not it'll be bsp. both are similar threads minus the taper of npt.
    on another note that ss hose is pretty abrasive and it is a great suggestion to wrap it.

    Thanks...

    I wrapped my SS with heat tape and it worked out great.

    To anyone wondering about BSP its as follows:

    BSP=British Standard Pipe
    NPT=National Pipe Thread
    M10=Metric 10mm pipe
    AN=Aeronautical and Navy, or Army Navy, or AirForce Navy, etc

    Do they make such things as BSP to NPT adapters? I have had a heck of a time finding any.
    Would the person who took the step ladder yesterday please bring it back or further steps will be taken

    They make every fitting you can think of. I have bins AND BINS of hydraulic fittings nothing AN, nothing at work uses that crap. All JIC there are several sizes of bsp I believe they go in increments 16ths like all hydraulics example #4 is 4/16ths=1/4" about 6mm what size do you need bsp to what npt?

    On the back of an oil pressure gauge I have it male 1/8 BSP, if that could go to female NPT that would be great.
