These are such generic qualifications. Everyone who buys coils wants to go low, and no one wants a horrible ride

But now to help you out. Koni Coil-overs go low enough for a daily-driven vehicle, and ride great as ****! Buy 'em for $800-900 brand new, and cheaper if you can find 'em in the forums. I got a brand new kit for $600 because some guy decided to sell 'em BNIB.

Comfy and low but not slammed...KONI'S

Sorta comfy...lower and almost slammed...FK Silverline, Silverline Plus, Konigsport

Slammed (never ridden in these so dont know about comfort)...UltraLows

I have FK Silverlines and they go low enough for me maxed out in the fronts (splash guards scrape everywhere) and the ride isnt harsh or bouncy at all so im 100% satisfied. Came out to $900shipped from UroTuning

K-Sport, they should get you as low as you could possibly want without going air. I have mine currently at 23 5/8" FTG, notched, and they ride very well and I'm on 19s. People on air and other coils have ridden in my GTI and agreed that my setup feels very stock like.

The Ul's are great, I originally wanted k-sports, then B&G Rs2's (both sold out.) I found the H&R's in stock and had them the next day, installed. The following day went to sowo. The first post says OP wants to spend less then $1000. Ul's are more than that new... Unless you find a used set.

I have FK Silverline X on mine, and love them. Ride decent and go low. I also have a brand new set in the box if your interested.
